On the just finished Embedded World 2018 exhibition, Digital Logic presented the latest version of Total Wireless Reader. After thorough research and extensive testing, we delivered a product with exceptional results when it comes to power consumption.
Due to the usage of Digital Logic Low Power Consumption (DL-LPC) technology, this reader is fully operational with a single battery pack. No external power is needed. Field tests proved our calculations that the reader is able to remain in stand by mode for ten years. In exploitation, the battery life depends on the number of readings and therefore it may vary.
TWR RFID reader may read MIFARE ISO 14443 type-A proximity cards and tags. TWR reader is paired with a TWR transceiver, RF device that is connected to the PC’s USB port. This makes TWR an ideal option where a reliable reader is a necessity, but laying down communication cables is not feasible.
